Your Product Leaves the Spreadsheet
Products usually arrive as a spreadsheet with gaps in it: a missing weight here, two spellings of the same colour there. We clean it before importing, so sizes and colours become proper variants, not separate products. Prices go in once, in dirhams.
Collections get sorted at the same time, because they’re what customers browse and what Google ranks. A store with three collections and nine hundred products gives nobody anywhere to land.
The Theme Gets Shaped Around What You Sell
We start from a well-built theme and change what matters, like the product page layout and where trust signals sit. Building a theme from nothing is money spent on work Shopify already did well.
As a Shopify agency in Dubai, we write collection pages with the same care as product pages, because they’re the ones that tend to rank. Every change gets reviewed on a phone first.
Checkout Gets Set Up for the UAE
This is where a store wins or loses the order. We connect a payment gateway that works in the UAE and add cash on delivery if you want it. Instalment apps such as Tabby or Tamara can go in too. Shipping rates go in by emirate, and VAT is configured the way your accountant tells us.
Then we place real test orders, by card and by cash on delivery, including one to an address in Al Ain. You receive the same emails a customer does.
The Store Gets Fast Before It Gets Traffic
Apps are the usual culprit. Each one can inject scripts into every page, so a store running dozens of them pays a toll on every visit. We check what each app does, remove duplicates and compress images properly.
The product feed then goes to Google Merchant Center, which nearly always flags a few problems on the first upload. We clear them before launch.
The First Order Lands in Sharjah
On launch day the domain points to Shopify, and the tracking and Merchant Center feed go live together, so your first week of data is usable. Had a store before? Every old URL redirects to its new page.
Shopify store setup in the UAE is where selling starts, not where it ends. Our e-commerce SEO and Google Shopping ads bring the orders after that, and you can ask us for a quote today.
Honestly, Shopify won't rescue a thin product range. If three competitors sell the same imported goods for less, the build isn't your problem, and no amount of theme work will fix it. That conversation is better had at the quote stage.
Can you move our store from WooCommerce to Shopify?
Usually, yes. Products and customers move across, and the old URLs redirect so search traffic follows.
Do you set up cash on delivery?
If you want it. Plenty of UAE shoppers still prefer it, so we test it before launch.
Who owns the store after launch?
You do. The Shopify account and the domain are in your name from the start.
